The one-minute organ piece 'Out of the Woebegone Pyre' has been selected in a preliminary round for performance by David Bohn, as part of the Organ Historical Society 2025 National Convention 3-8 August, at Ozaukee Congregational Church, rural Ozaukee County, Wisconsin.
The title of this piece is taken from the poem 'Holy Spring' by the Welsh poet and writer Dylan Thomas (1914 - 1953). The poem was included in his volume of poetry 'Deaths and Entrances' first published in 1946.
The performance is part of the long-running 15 Minutes of Fame project:
Fifteen Minutes of Fame was designed by producer and composer Robert Voisey to create an opportunity for composers to get their works performed and heard by audiences around the world.
