On Sat 5th October Herne Hill Music Festival is holding a Wind and Brass Play Day hosted by the London Consorts of Winds. The programme features music from the 16th to the 21st Century and should include movements from 'Five Pieces for Wind'.
Five Pieces for Wind Instruments was written in 2002 for The Southwark Consorts of Winds - The Ancient and Modern Consort.
Each of the five movements subject familiar musical stereotypes to simple but rather strict processes.
